SEND Tutor - Wirral The Opportunity
Prospero Teaching is currently seeking experienced and compassionate SEND Tutors to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to children and young people across Wirral.
As a SEND Tutor, you'll work with learners who require additional educational support due to a range of special educational needs and disabilities. Every tuition programme is tailored to the individual, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to a young person's confidence, engagement and academic progress.

Wirral - Position: SEND Tutor
- Hours:
5-15 hours per week (flexible) - Start Date:
September 2026 - Duration:
Ongoing
- Experience supporting children and young people with SEND
- QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
- Experience delivering personalised 1:1 tuition
- A patient, adaptable and engaging teaching style
Experience supporting learners with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, MLD or speech and language needs is highly desirable.
To be eligible, you must:- Hold the Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Provide two professional child-related references
