Teaching Assistant Wirral

Responsibilities

• Work one‑on‑one or in small groups with high school students who need an extra boost in their learning.
• Partner with teachers to keep lessons running smoothly and keep students engaged.
• Help students navigate exams, coursework, and school life with encouragement and patience.
• Help prepare learning materials and adapt activities to suit different learning needs.

• Experience working with children or young people as a support worker, TA, tutor, youth leader, care worker, or in a similar setting.
• Genuine passion for working with young people aged 11‑16.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Patient, flexible, and positive attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
