Midday Assistant

We require an enthusiastic, hard-working, self-motivated lunch time assistant to join our team as soon as possible, working 7.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday 11:45am to 1:15pm.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Lunchtime Assistant to bring energy, play, and positive supervision to our pupils during their midday break.

• Promoting an inspiring lunchtime: Creating a vibrant, inclusive, and enjoyable playground atmosphere where every pupil feels valued and safe.
• Organising games & activities: Leading dynamic games, sports, and creative play opportunities to keep children active and meaningfully engaged. Working with our Year 5/6 play leaders to encourage active play during our lunchtimes.
• Building positive relationships: Actively fostering strong friendships among children and acting as a warm, trusted presence on the school grounds.
• Supporting high standards of behaviour: Encouraging positive choices, resolving minor playground disputes, and effectively managing incidents in alignment with our Behaviour Policy.
• Providing first aid & welfare support: Delivering frontline first aid care and accurately recording incidents into our electronic logging system (a fully funded, one-day First Aid certification course will be provided upon post-appointment).

• Someone who relates exceptionally well to both children and staff with warmth, enthusiasm, and outstanding communication skills.
• A candidate who demonstrates a genuine passion for transforming lunchtimes into a rewarding, safe, and memorable part of the school day.
