Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a confident GCSE Maths Tutor to provide targeted 1:1 support to a learner in Wirral.
The successful tutor will help the learner strengthen their mathematical understanding, address gaps in knowledge and develop greater confidence ahead of their GCSE studies.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver tailored GCSE Maths tuition
- Identify areas of strength and development
- Support exam preparation and revision
- Explain mathematical concepts clearly
- Differentiate activities to suit learner ability
- Encourage independent problem-solving
- Monitor progress throughout the placement
- Strong GCSE Maths subject knowledge
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience
- Experience supporting secondary-aged learners
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt lessons to individual needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
