Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS (ECTs/NQTs and experienced teachers are welcome).
  • Degree level qualification in Mathematics or a related subject discipline.
  • Proven track record of teaching Maths within the UK National Curriculum at Secondary level.
  • An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Randstad).

Key Duties
  • Lesson Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assessment: Grade coursework, track pupil progress, and provide constructive feedback to accelerate learning.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and foster a focused learning environment.
  • Exam Preparation: Prepare students thoroughly for target grades and upcoming GCSE examinations.
