Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND)

Vetro are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 (SEND) to join a team on the Wirral. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs within a nurturing and inclusive environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and contribute to creating a positive learning experience for all pupils.

• Supporting teaching and learning across multiple subjects, adapting approaches to meet individual pupil needs.
• Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for pupils with SEND.
• Modifying challenging behaviour in a firm but supportive manner to promote positive outcomes.
• Building strong, child-centred relationships to foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure high standards of behaviour and engagement.

• An NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND in a school or similar setting.
• A mandatory Enhanced DBS Check.
• Flexibility and a child-centred approach, with a good sense of humour and adaptability.
