This full‑time, permanent role is ideal for someone confident in preparing detailed electrical estimates and tender submissions, with a sharp eye for both technical detail and commercial strategy. WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Producing accurate and competitive electrical estimates for projects across commercial and public sector buildings
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
- Identifying potential risks, exclusions, and opportunities within each project scope
- Collaborating with pre‑construction and operational teams to align bids with delivery strategy
- Supporting tender submissions and attending post‑tender meetings as needed
- Keeping clear documentation to support pricing strategies and cost breakdowns
- Experience as an Electrical Estimator in the M&E or building services sector
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and installations
- Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel
- Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset
- Relevant trade background or electrical qualifications (preferred)
- Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
