We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer with our client based in Liverpool.

• Advise and assist the design, installation and commissioning of projects and small initiatives
• Ensure that plant and equipment systems perform to manufacture product efficiently to high quality standards
• Assist with training and support of non‑electrically biased engineers and electrical engineers wishing to improve their knowledge of automated machinery
• Support the engineering and manufacturing functions ensuring maximum utilisation of engineering equipment to achieve KPIs and optimal line efficiency within the company safety, quality & environmental policies
• Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement, to enhance quality, safety, efficiency and waste reduction
• Help transform the engineering maintenance strategy from a breakdown philosophy to a Right First Time, proactive philosophy

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in engineering for example – Level 3 Electrical/Electronic engineering or similar
• Previous experience of automated manufacturing environments; working understanding of Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic technical manuals & drawings
