Financial Controller

Up to £80,000

Our client is a growing, international Private Equity backed £40m turnover electronics manufacturing business. The business is highly profitable and with turnover and profits growing robustly, the business is seeking to expand into additional overseas markets.

Owing to progression of the incumbent, the business requires a Financial Controller. The CFO is open to considering either an experienced Financial Controller or someone stepping up into their first time FC role.

Reporting to the CFO, the role will lead a team of 4 with responsibilities comprising:

• Financial Reporting:
  Including monthly and annual reporting to a variety of stakeholders
• Preparation of Board pack
• Budgeting and forecasting for the group and its operating companies
• Oversight of AP & AR
• Cashflow and working capital management
• Development and improvement of business processes, driving efficiencies
• Leading the year end audit

This is a role that would suit either an experienced Financial Controller or someone stepping up into their first time FC role.

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA)
• Solid experience in a Financial Accountant and / or Financial Control oriented role
• Deadline driven, well organised and efficient
• Strong people skills - both in leadership and in building productive relationships across the business
• A sound grasp of what a good financial control environment looks like
