Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant | £26, | Wirral

An Accounts Assistant position is being recruited to join a niche, but large company based on the Wirral. The company is continuing to grow and is now looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the accounts team, supporting a Financial Controller in helping drive the finance function forward.

As Accounts Assistant, you will be required to:

• Process purchase ledger invoices and raising POs
• Chase any outstanding queries
• Manage inter-company recharges
• Support with payroll T&A systems, maintain records and checking timesheets
• Support with the month end processes and close
• Ad hoc duties as and when required

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Experience working in a finance role – with knowledge of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
• Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment in a timely and accurate manner
• Finance systems knowledge and know your way around Excel
• Good analytical flair with the ability to solve problems on your own
• Strong organisational and time management skills
