Gloucestershire / Hybrid A Financial Services business based in Gloucestershire are looking for a Senior or mid-level Matillion Support Engineer to join the high-performing Technology Operations team, playing a key role in supporting and enhancing the enterprise data platform. About the Role As Matillion Support Engineer , you'll ensure the cloud data platform delivers a reliable, secure and high-performing service to the business.

You will:
Provide expert-level support for Matillion and wider data platform technologies. Manage and resolve incidents efficiently to minimise disruption. Proactively monitor platform performance and deliver enhancements. Ensure compliance with IT policies, access controls, recoverability standards, and governance requirements. Identify opportunities for automation and drive process optimisation. Stay ahead of advancements in the data engineering space, sharing knowledge across the team.

Key Responsibilities Act as a subject-matter expert for Matillion within Technology Operations. Lead platform support activities and help maintain a resilient, scalable data environment. Troubleshoot complex data integration, transformation and workflow issues. Contribute to platform feature design and supportability. Maintain technical documentation, knowledge bases and best practice guides. Support strategic initiatives and understand how data platforms shape long-term business outcomes. What You'll Bring Expert hands-on experience supporting and optimising Matillion in a production environment.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A passion for service excellence, automation, innovation, and continual improvement.
