Job Overview

Arcus cleaners are proud to keep Sainsbury’s supermarkets clean and safe for customers. We are looking for a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner based at the Sainsbury’s store in Birkenhead, on a fixed‑term basis until March 2026. The role is 18 hours per week, with an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available.

• Operate cleaning machinery.
• Carry out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping and sweeping to keep stores clean.
• Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows and oven canopies as required.
• Keep trolley bays and surrounding areas free of leaves and debris.
• Apply all health and safety procedures.

An eye for detail and cleanliness, a positive attitude to cleaning and customer service are essential. Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required – on‑the‑job training will be supplied.

Sunday: 06:00 – 09:00
Monday: 05:00 – 08:00
Tuesday: 05:00 – 08:00
Wednesday: 05:00 – 08:00
Thursday:
Day off
Friday: 05:00 – 08:00
Saturday: 05:00 – 08:00
