You will support the Team Leader with efficient management and day to day running of the ward and monitor the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients. in co-operation with the multidisciplinary team. You will be able to demonstrate your professional skills and competence in leadership, care planning / co-ordination, medicines management, and care and treatment delivery.

You will support the Team Leader with delivering a high quality efficient and effective service within the ward, meeting defined performance indicators including quality standards, quality goals and patient experience. You will be involved in both management and the individual professional development of the clinical team incorporating the Trust's appraisal system. You will provide advice and support to junior staff in the delivery of high quality care and actively support the Ward Manager in the management of the team.
