Operations Supervisor

Position: Operations Supervisor (Permanent)
Location: Bromborough

The Role:

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Operations Supervisor to join a fast-paced production environment. This role is all about keeping operations running smoothly, leading a team, and making sure targets, quality, and safety standards are consistently met. You'll be at the heart of production, solving problems, improving efficiency, and helping the team perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support a production team, stepping in when managers are unavailable.
Plan production schedules and allocate resources to meet targets.
Train, coach, and mentor team members while maintaining accurate training records.
Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality and regulatory standards.
Monitor stock, manage workflows, and reduce waste wherever possible.
Support problem-solving during equipment breakdowns or quality issues.
Act as first responder during safety or security incidents and participate in weekend/out-of-hours callouts.
Promote a positive and efficient working environment across shifts.

Requirements:

Previous supervisory experience, ideally in a fast-moving production or FMCG environment.
HACCP Level 3 and Level 3 Food Safety certification.
Strong attention to detail and excellent planning skills.
Confident with computers, particularly Microsoft Office.
Excellent people management skills: coaching, mentoring, and motivating a team.
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work rotating shifts.
