The Role
We’re looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Elec bias) to join the team. You’ll be responsible for keeping all mechanical and electrical equipment running safely and efficiently, ensuring production stays on track and helping the business achieve its goals. This is a hands-on role where your skills and initiative will make a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to keep equipment reliable.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and get production back up and running.
* Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe working environment and reduce downtime.
* Keep accurate records of all maintenance work to ensure compliance and safety.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives and help make processes better.
* Ensure all maintenance work is logged in the maintenance system to maintain equipment history.
* Complete tasks within agreed timescales while working safely at all times.
* Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance.
About You
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (Essential).
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential).
* PLC fault-finding (Desirable).
* At least 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer, in a production or manufacturing environment (Essential).
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
* Proactive, flexible, and willing to take ownership of your work.
* Good communicator and a team player.
