At Birkenhead, we bring together extensive hot-rolled coil stock and advanced de-coiling capabilities under one roof.

The primary purpose of this role will beto work as a team tooperateone ofourtwode-coiling machines,pick,processandload customer ordersandoffload incoming stock.

• Work to customer specifications to ensure material isprocessedin accordance withthese.
• Pick and process computer-generated customer orders, including repetitive handling and lifting of large and heavy materials.
• Accurately record stock movements and product usage using
  
  SAP.
• Safelyoperateforklifts and overhead cranes to transfer stock (where qualified).
• Assist with the production, preparation, and dispatch of customer orders.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrate flexibility to support operational requirements as needed.
• Stable and consistent employment history.
• Experience of working inaheavy industry environment(preferably in steel).
• Ability to safely handle large and heavy steel products.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to health and safety.
• Experience of operating overhead cranesand counterbalance forklift trucks.
