Salary: £32,000 - £35,000
Shift: Days & Nights
We are a successful and growing manufacturing business located in a modern production facility on the Wirral.
You will be responsible for carrying out machine maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance activities across production equipment, ensuring maximum uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production targets and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements- Previous machine maintenance experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Hands‑on experience carrying out planned preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs
- Ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults on production machinery
- Experience working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
- Proven machine maintenance and fault‑finding experience
- Good mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
- Engineering qualification (Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering)
- Experience working within food, FMCG, packaging, or high‑volume manufacturing environments
- Basic electrical fault‑finding knowledge
- Working for a well‑established and growing manufacturing business
