Job Overview

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment. Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you will play a key role in minimising downtime, supporting production targets, and driving continuous improvement across the site.

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventive maintenance on automated and semi‑automated production machinery.
• Minimise downtime, support production targets, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
• Work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Hands‑on experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Strong electrical fault‑finding experience on production machinery.
• Recognised engineering qualification (NVQ Level3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC fault‑finding (advantageous).
• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience in FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
