The Production Scheduler is a full-time, on-site role based in Wirral, responsible for coordinating and optimizing production activities to meet customer demand and internal deadlines. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed production schedules, aligning capacity and resources, and adjusting plans based on changing priorities or constraints. The Production Scheduler will work closely with production, procurement, logistics, and project teams to ensure materials availability, efficient workflow, and on-time delivery.
Daily tasks include monitoring inventory levels, tracking work-in-progress, identifying bottlenecks, and preparing reports on schedule adherence and production performance. The role also contributes to process improvements, supports accurate forecasting, and ensures that scheduling decisions align with quality, safety, and cost objectives.
- Ability to develop and manage Production Schedules and support effective Production Planning.
- Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting data, identifying trends, and solving scheduling or capacity issues.
- Clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with Inventory Control to maintain optimal stock levels and support production continuity.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in technology or hardware solutions.
- Proficiency with scheduling and ERP/MRP software, and strong skills in spreadsheet and data management tools.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
- Relevant vocational training or a degree in operations management, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
