Practice Nurse

We are a friendly, supportive training GP practice with 6 GP partners, looking to recruit an enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our established nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who enjoys the variety of primary care and wants to work in a practice that actively supports learning, development, and work‑life balance.

Practice Nurse GP Surgery

25 hours per week | Flexible working

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
• General Practice nursing experience preferred but not essential
• Organised, motivated, and patient‑focused
• Keen to develop skills within primary care

The post includes a mix of day‑to‑day general practice nursing duties, including:

• Long‑term condition management
• Chronic disease reviews (e.g. asthma, diabetes, COPD)
• Immunisations and vaccinations
• Cervical screening
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and patient education
• Contribution to Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) achievement

• Well‑established training practice
• 6 supportive GP partners

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
