About the Nursing Home Manager RoleAs Nursing Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring consistently high standards of clinical care, safeguarding, governance, compliance and resident wellbeing.
You will work closely with an experienced and supportive team, including a strong Deputy Manager, providing effective leadership and maintaining the positive culture already established within the home.
This is not a turnaround role. The home is fully compliant, well established and highly regarded, making this an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager looking for stability and the chance to lead a successful service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strong and visible leadership across the nursing home.
- Maintain excellent standards of resident care, clinical practice and safeguarding.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation.
- Oversee care planning, clinical governance and quality assurance.
- Support, motivate and develop the nursing and care team.
- Work closely with the Deputy Manager and wider management team.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of documentation and clinical practice.
- Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, professionals and external stakeholders.
- Continue to develop and enhance the excellent reputation of the home.
- Current RGN or RMN qualification.
- Previous experience as a Nursing Home Manager or Deputy Manager within a nursing home setting.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing home governance.
- Excellent knowledge of care planning and clinical documentation.
- Proven experience maintaining compliance and high-quality care standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering excellent resident care.
- The ability to lead, support and develop a dedicated team.
