What You Will Enjoy Doing
As a Quality Coordinator you will be working as part of the Quality department in a days-based role to ensure that all necessary checks are conducted and operational issues, and out of specification results are investigated and escalated as appropriate. To support the Quality Manager in the development of the team/people to achieve their maximum contribution to the Quality process.
- Lead RCA investigations into internal non-conformances / out of specification results, documenting and implement root cause and corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance to product specifications through adherence to quality testing plans and non-conformances escalation and management.
- Practical experience in conducting quality/internal audits.
- Ensure compliance to all ALPLA routine testing.
- Ensuring all laboratory and process critical measuring equipment is functioning and fully calibrated.
- Conduct traceability exercises and isolate products associated with internal non-conformances or customer complaints.
- Manage isolation and sorting activity and area.
- Check and maintain production quality paperwork.
- Obtain samples to maintain migration certification for existing products.
- Conduct internal audits for hygiene, procedural compliance, safety behaviours and systems.
- Provide product defect awareness training. To perform any other duties in connection with the job that may from time to time be reasonably required by supervision and which are consistent with the "Main Purpose of the Job".
- Previous role within Quality at a similar level, ideally with exposure to manufacturing
- Highly analytical and exceptional attention to detail
- Compliant and process driven
- Organised and able to communicate results effectively
- Extensive audit experience (lead Audit trained highly advantageous)
- Days – Monday to Friday (7am – 4pm)
