Buying Manager

We’re working with a major UK food retailer and wholesaler who are expanding their commercial team and looking for a Buying Manager who can shape ranges that genuinely reflect local customers. This is a role with real influence; you’ll own your categories, build supplier partnerships, negotiate hard, and create ranges that feel relevant, competitive and commercially sharp.

You’ll be an ambitious buyer with solid experience in food retail, wholesale, cash & carry or FMCG, confident managing suppliers and comfortable working in an environment where things move quickly. You know how to balance commercial performance with customer insight, and you’re not afraid to challenge, influence or bring new ideas to the table. You’ll thrive in a business that values pace, ownership and people who get things Regional or customer‑specific range experience is a bonus, but strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills are essential.
