Position:
Permanent part‑time retail assistant at Farmfoods in Birkenhead, Merseyside.

Hours:

16 hours across 4 days per week (minimum 16 hours over 4 days). Suitable for weekday evenings (7 pm onwards) and all day Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay: £10.10 per hour for ages 16‑20; £12.31 per hour for ages 21+.

• Make customers feel welcome with a friendly smile and hello.
• Help customers find items.
• Deliver fast, friendly service at tills, assisting with packing and leaving a good impression.
• Handle stock with care; work deliveries, place products into freezers and shelves.
• Work with the team to complete daily/weekly routines keeping the shop safe, clean and tidy.

• Friendly, positive, hard‑working approach.
• Enjoy being busy; handle multiple tasks such as deliveries, till, floor, cleaning and stock rotation.
• Reliable; integral to a small team; dependable on each shift.
• Flexible with shifts; adjust for colleague holiday coverage; rota planned three weeks in advance and personal commitments considered.

Potential for advancement to Shop and Area Manager positions through internal promotion; training programmes available.
