Position: Retail Travel Manager

Platinum Travel Recruitment are collaborating with a highly successful and established travel company that create a range of exceptional holidays and cruises for a loyal and discerning client base. Due to growth, we are now seeking an experienced Retail Travel Manager to manage a small team.

This is a great opportunity for an existing travel retail professional with management experience looking to take the next step in their career with a supportive and forward thinking travel company.

Retail Travel Manager Duties – no day will be the same.

As a Retail Travel Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch, driving sales performance, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with the management, development and training of the branch team.

* Leading by example through the design and sale of bespoke luxury and experiential travel itineraries.

* Supporting colleagues with product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.

* Building and maintaining strong client relationships.

* Monitoring branch performance and contributing to the achievement of sales targets.

* Helping to motivate the team and create a positive, professional working environment.

Retail Travel Manager – Essential Requirements:

* Previous experience within the travel industry, as a manager of a travel agency based in the UK, we would consider travel agent managers who have been of the travel industry for a year or go looking to get back into travel.

* Strong knowledge of luxury, tailor-made, and experiential travel products.

* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* Ability to motivate and support colleagues while maintaining personal sales performance
