Importantchecks before you apply
- You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK
- The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc) that you may be required to handle
- Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types
- Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day
- Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers
- Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas
- Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely
- Helping in other areas when needed, which could include picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts once you’re trained and confident
- Friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering for customers
- Working nights takes energy, resilience and a hands-on approach, so you will be ready to work in a physically demanding role and able to adapt to the disruption that working over-night can have on well-being and sleep
- Committed team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is always willing to support colleagues and work together
- Flexibly and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges
- Open to learning, developing and trying new things to improve our service
- Confident learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly
- Take pride and ownership in your work, including a good attention to detail, maintaining a clean and tidy work space and always looking for ways to make our customer experience better
