Client Engagement Advisor RoleI am currently working with a well‑established energy and utilities consultancy that supports UK businesses in reviewing and improving their energy arrangements. Operating within a growing and essential sector, the company focuses on providing expert advice and long‑term value to its clients.
They are now looking to appoint a confident and motivated Client Engagement Advisor to join their office‑based team. This role is focused on client contact, relationship building, and qualifying interest – non‑closing roles. You will be responsible for engaging business decision‑makers, gathering accurate information, and passing qualified opportunities to senior consultants who manage the consultation process end‑to‑end.
This position would suit someone who enjoys speaking with people, building rapport, and working towards clear performance targets in a supportive environment.

- Engage with decision‑makers to assess interest and suitability
- Generate qualified leads for senior energy consultants
- Consistently meet and exceed agreed activity and performance targets
- Maintain required outbound call and engagement levels
- Build rapport quickly and professionally with prospective clients
- Work in line with call guidelines and compliance procedures
- Accurately capture and record client information on internal systems
- Ensure a smooth and detailed handover of qualified opportunities
- Maintain a positive and professional approach on every interaction
- Continuously build product and industry knowledge through training
- Work independently while contributing positively to the wider team
- Ideally 1 year B2B sales experience or 2 years B2C sales experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and senior decision‑makers
- Ability to think on your feet and handle objections appropriately
- High attention to detail when qualifying and recording information
- Target‑driven and comfortable working towards KPIs
- Self‑motivated with good time management skills
- Experience with in a structured sales or call environment is beneficial but not essential
- Full training provided for candidates with the right attitude and mindset
