Job Role: Multi‑Site Security Officer

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Cammell Laird, Campbeltown Road, Birkenhead, Merseyside, CH41 9BP

Reporting to: Contract Manager

Overview: This role involves monitoring access, conducting patrols, and ensuring the safety of the vessel and site. The officer must provide excellent customer service, be flexible to cover multiple sites, and adapt quickly to new environments.

• Protect the client’s property, people and assets by following site‑specific procedures.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing offenders of policy.
• Escalate incidents in a timely, accurate manner to the Control Room, Shift Manager, Operations Manager or Emergency Services.
• Complete detailed incident reports and record observations and surveillance activities.
• Maintain the organization’s reputation by complying with legal requirements.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
• Provide the first line of support to customers and visitors, offering a professional, friendly service.
• Respond to customer queries and requests appropriately.
• Maintain professional conduct at all times.

• Full 5‑year employment‑checkable history.
• Valid frontline SIA licence (DS or SG).
• Customer service experience and confidence to handle conflict appropriately.
• Flexible to meet job requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Smart appearance and well‑groomed.
• Reliable and punctual.
• High level of enthusiasm and passion.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving environment.
