What you will do
  • Conduct assessments to gauge the needs of children and families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each unique situation.
  • Develop and maintain positive, trusting relationships with children and families, focusing on building strengths and providing supportive interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues from assessment, CIN, CP, and court teams to deliver tailored support plans.
  • Ensure that children remain at the centre of decision‑making, applying principles of relational practice to achieve sustainable and effective outcomes.
  • Participate in reflective practice and supervision to constantly evolve and improve your social work practice.
  • Manage a mixed caseload, engaging directly with families, and ensuring that all interventions are both empathetic and evidence‑based.
