Youth Support Worker

Location: Birkenhead, CH42
Salary: £27,999 - £29,428 per annum
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

We are recruiting for a Youth Support Worker to join a specialist residential service supporting young adults aged 16-30
. This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Youth Support Worker who is passionate about helping young people develop independence, confidence, and life skills.

The Role

As a Youth Support Worker
, you will:

  • Support young adults in line with their individual support plans.
  • Encourage independence and develop essential life skills.
  • Build positive relationships with young people and partner agencies.
  • Support individuals with education, employment, training, and daily living goals.
  • Safeguard young people and maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to support plans, reviews, and risk assessments.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Youth Support Worker
    , Support Worker, Residential Support Worker, or within a similar care setting.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and supporting vulnerable young people.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A resilient, reliable, and compassionate approach.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
