Smart Solutions is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a leading waste management operation based in Bromborough.

This is a full-time, ongoing position offering regular weekday work, performance bonuses, paid breaks, and excellent earning potential through overtime.

As a Class 2 Trade Waste Driver, you will be responsible for collecting commercial waste using a modern fleet of vehicles while delivering a safe, professional, and reliable service to customers across the region.

• Carry out scheduled commercial waste collections safely and efficiently
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects
• Follow planned routes while maintaining high service standards
• Ensure customer sites are left clean and bins are returned correctly
• Comply with Driver Hours, Health & Safety, and Waste Management regulations
• Work closely with the operations team to maintain service levels

• £17.00 per hour
• Overtime paid at £18.09 per hour after 40 hours
• Paid breaks
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend overtime available
• Performance bonuses after training: 8p per bin collected
• Additional daily timing bonus of £10, £14 or £18 based on performance targets
• Full PPE and uniform provided

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) Licence
• Driver CPC Qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience
• Waste industry experience beneficial but not essential
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual duties
