• Driving Licence
  :
  Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points – you’ll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
• Physical Fitness
  :
  Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.

  Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You’ll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

This role is more than just a job; it’s a vital service at the heart of every neighbourhood.

While large parts of the role involves walking, driving a Royal Mail delivery van is also a key requirement. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

• Day Shift – STARTS AND FINISHES BETWEEN 05:31-19:59 – Pay Rate: £13.69
• Dawn Shift – STARTS BETWEEN 02:01-04:00 – Pay Rate: £14.61
• Early 0500 – STARTS BETWEEN 04:01-05:00 – Pay Rate: £14.61
• Early 0530 – STARTS BETWEEN 05:01-05:30 – Pay Rate: £14.61
• Evening – FINISHES BETWEEN 20:00-21:39 – Pay Rate: £14.38
• Lates – FINISHES BETWEEN 21:40-01:59 – Pay Rate: £15.14
• Nights – THREE HOURS ACROSS 23:00-05:00 – Pay Rate: £16.44

While this is a temporary role, there may be potential for it to become permanent.
