Senior Tax Accountant

Pay:$75,000.00 per year

Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys tackling complex returns, mentoring others, and providing trusted advisory services to a diverse client base.

This position has a Bonus Structure.

• Prepare complex tax returns for businesses including, but not limited to, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.
• Review income tax returns prepared by Associates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with coordinating engagements, including client communication, staff assignments, documentation, and scheduling.
• Collaborate with senior team members to research and resolve complex tax issues, providing the best solutions for clients.
• Supervise and guide less experienced team members while contributing to special projects.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
• Build foundational business development skills to help promote the firm and expand client relationships.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college/university.
• Active CPA license required.

• 2–5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated professional judgment and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
