Tax Preparer​/Bookkeeper AND Office Admin

Turpin & Associates, PC, a local CPA firm in Birmingham, AL, is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team. We are looking for:

We are a smaller, flexible firm experiencing growth and need committed team players to support our expanding services.

• Part-time during most of the year, full-time (including overtime) during tax season
• Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations, and trusts; assist with basic return checks for accuracy
• Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as monthly entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll
• Benefits, vacation, and tax bonuses available
• Ultra Tax CS experience preferred but not mandatory

• Full-time position
• Answer phones, process and file tax returns (primarily corporate, also individual), assist clients, handle invoicing and payments, and perform light bookkeeping
