Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Birmingham, AL

This position will involve assisting in the day‑to‑day accounts receivable activities. The right candidate must have the ability to work both independently or in a team environment, employ critical thinking and use good judgment in decision‑making.

• Assist in posting cash deposit payments.
• Assist in cash collection calls.
• Other duties as needed.
• Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work effectively with or without direct supervision as well as independently or in a team environment.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• At least 1‑year experience in a similar role.

• Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable role preferred.

This is a full‑time position. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
