Accounting Manager

New position created due to growth- the Accounting Manager will oversee our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. In this role, you will lead the accounting team in managing the month-end close process, invoicing, collections, and preparation of financial statements. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Oversee preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals.
• Supervise invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor accounts receivable, oversee collections efforts, and resolve outstanding account issues.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Ensure proper documentation, internal controls, and compliance with accounting policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA is a plus.
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role ideally.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting principles.
• Proven experience managing month-end close, invoicing, collections, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Salary expectations- $90-95K, depending on level of experience
