We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper
for a Birmingham based client. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable
, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. - Maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closings
, including journal entries and trial balance. - Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with management and external auditors as needed.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping experience
, including full charge responsibilities. - Proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
