Senior Accountant, Investments

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant to focus on the accounting, reconciliation, analyzing and reporting for a wide range of investment transactions and assets. This person will work closely with internal stakeholders across finance, tax, reporting, investment operations and audit functions to ensure investment activity is reflected accurately in financial records.

• Review, analyze and reconcile complex investment transactions across multiple reporting systems and data sources.
• Maintain and update investment accounting records and supporting schedules.
• Supporting accounting and reporting activities related to real estate and alternative investment holdings.
• Research and resolve investment accounting discrepancies through collaboration with internal business partners and investment teams.
• Partner with accounting policy, financial reporting, tax, and audit groups to meet reporting and compliance requirements.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year end close activities related to investment portfolios.

• CPA Preferred
• 2+ years of accounting, financial reporting, investment accounting or related experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of fixed income securities, reporting tools or investment accounting platforms.
• Bachelors degree in Accounting required.
