ABOUT

THE ROLE

Our client, Brooksource, is seeking a Healthcare Administrator for a hybrid, long-term contract position in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will support a healthcare team by organizing and managing the group email account and voicemail box, sorting and responding to internal requests, following up on voicemails, and managing provider claim payment issues for internal customers and providers. You will work directly with the group manager to define administrative tasks, carve out responsibilities, and establish efficient processes.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Organize and manage the group email account and voicemail box, ensuring all communications are addressed promptly
  • Sort through emails and respond to internal requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Follow up on voicemails and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues
  • Manage and track issues for internal customers and providers, such as checking the status of provider claim payments
  • Collaborate closely with the group manager to define, refine, and prioritize administrative tasks and responsibilities
  • Establish, document, and optimize administrative processes for greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Maintain data cleanliness and accuracy in all communications and records
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily administrative and reporting tasks
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Call center experience or administrative background required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Competency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • No degree required
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage group email and voicemail accounts
  • Motivation and initiative in establishing and improving processes
