• 12‑month contract
• Pay Range $45.00–$50.00/hr.
The Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that digital solutions meet defined business objectives and deliver meaningful value. Working closely with the Product Manager and Product Owner, this person will help create portfolio epics, define acceptance criteria, and manage requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
Relationship
IQ is the corporate banking digital onboarding and originations platform. Initially designed to digitize onboarding for corporate and commercial clients, the platform is now in pilot and preparing for expansion to support deposit account originations. The full rollout is planned for mid‑next year, marking a major milestone in Regions’ digital banking transformation. The Business Analyst contractor will be instrumental in helping the product team define and manage work efforts that advance Relationship
IQ’s next phase, ensuring alignment between business needs and technology delivery.
- Act as a bridge between business partners and technology teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment across all project phases.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to develop portfolio epics, acceptance criteria, and user stories for upcoming work.
- Perform intermediate-level business analysis, including requirements gathering, process mapping, business case development, and solution benefit definition.
- Conduct competitive and market analysis to understand how other financial institutions approach digital onboarding and originations.

IQ must address. - Use data gathering and light analysis to inform decision‑making and future platform enhancements (no advanced analytics required).
- Build and maintain clear and actionable Excel-based reports or summaries to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Validate business requirements with stakeholders and collaborate cross‑functionally during solution design and implementation.
- Recommend post‑launch improvements based on stakeholder feedback and system performance.
- Proactively resolve requirement‑related conflicts to ensure clarity and alignment across all teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in business analysis or a closely related role (financial services preferred).
- Proven experience with requirements documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables, charts, and summarization tools).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and JIRA.
- Experience in Commercial or Corporate Banking (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Lucid Chart or Figma (preferred, but teachable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Background in financial services or financial institutions (FI).
- Exposure to digital onboarding or origination platforms.
