Events Specialist

Our client needs someone who can turn a blank calendar into a flawless national sales incentive trip or high‑stakes executive meeting, with every vendor, venue, and detail locked down. • High-visibility work on major events, including national sales incentive trips
• Direct exposure to senior executives, top sales performers, and key accounts
• Real ownership of a project from site selection through post‑event reporting

$25–$28/hr – DOE

• Own end-to-end planning of events, meetings, and sales incentive trips, from site selection to post‑event reporting
• Consult with stakeholders to set event goals, scope, budgets, and timelines, and build project plans and contingencies
• Lead vendor and venue management: RFPs, site evaluation, contract negotiation, and logistics for F&B, AV, production, and transportation
• Partner with Marketing on promotional materials and registration, and represent the client at events with executives and customers
• Manage event-related accounting and documentation
• Research and coordinate event management technology
• Conduct post‑event surveys and critiques to improve future programs

• 8+ years of experience in event and meeting management required
• Active FICP membership preferred, or willingness to join upon hire
• Able to travel about 25% for site visits and on‑site event management
