Accounts Payable Coordinator

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our AP team. You'll run our settlement process and handle the reporting that goes with it. You'll also help AP use Claude and  to work more efficiently.

Settlement Runs

• Process the Weekly General Run and the Bi-Monthly Rent Run
• Support the Relief Run, which we are consolidating into the general runs
• Issue and track wires, which are handled outside the general run and managed on a dedicated board

Reporting and Reconciliation

• Prepare and review the ACH Bounce Back Report
• Work to resolve items on the Outstanding Check Report
• Void checks and process stop payments as needed (requires bank access)
• Research cleared checks (requires bank access)

Credit and Invoice Support

• Assist with credit research
• Help monitor approved invoices that are outstanding or aging

Backup Coverage

• Serve as backup for the COGS, Utility, and Friday Urgent runs
• Serve as backup for incoming check deposits

Communication

• Communicate settlement information and requests within AP and to other department heads

AI and Process Improvement

• Take on ad hoc projects using Claude and other AI tools to improve efficiency
• Build, maintain, and manage  boards for our teams' use, including tools that connect to Claude

• Hybrid work schedule based in Birmingham, AL
