The Construction General Laborer will be responsible for assisting construction teams with various tasks related to industrial construction projects. Duties will include handling materials, operating heavy equipment, site preparation, and maintaining work areas.

Duties
:

• Load and unload construction materials and equipment from trucks and transport them to work areas.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, excavators, and bulldozers under supervision.
• Assist with excavation, trenching, and back filling.
• Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up equipment.
• Maintain equipment and machinery by performing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Work collaboratively with construction teams to complete projects efficiently and on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
:

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor, industrial environments.
• Comfortable working in remote locations with exposure to extreme weather conditions.
• Experience working around heavy equipment, such as cranes, bulldozers, and excavators, is a plus.
• Understanding of basic construction measurements, leveling, and tools.
• Strong safety awareness, including recognizing potential hazards on industrial construction sites.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet project deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Ability to travel to various job sites as required.
• Must follow all required fall protection, confined space, and hazardous material handling procedures.

Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation):

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Requires prolonged standing, bending, climbing ladders, and walking long distances on uneven surfaces.
• Must be able to reach overhead and frequently use hands to operate tools.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, balance, and agility are essential.
• Must be capable of working in various weather conditions.
• Requires overall physical strength and endurance to perform labor-intensive tasks.

Working Environment
:

• Regularly exposed to outdoor, industrial construction environments.
• Frequent exposure to moving heavy machinery, large vehicles, and power tools.
• Work may involve high-risk areas such as highway construction, pipeline excavation, and steel structures.
• May be exposed to loud noise, dust, fumes, and vibrations from industrial equipment.
