• Operate an Asphalt Distributor on road construction projects.
• Set the spray bar on manual, automatic, or semi‑automatic distributors to apply liquid asphalt.
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Maintain efficient working condition of equipment, performing minor servicing and maintenance; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Perform related duties such as shovel work, setting string line, and adding or removing screed extensions.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Perform additional duties as required, subject to supervision.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in all units of measure.

• Current CDL license, preferably with Tanker endorsement.
• Ability to learn to operate an Asphalt Distributor Truck.
• Physical ability to meet DOT standards.
