Director, Construction Field Ops

This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future. Experienced in construction, management, and detail-oriented. About the Role

As a Director of Construction, you will oversee all commercial aspects of cable plant construction—including new, replacement, and upgrades. You will manage teams to complete projects from conceptual development through final construction, ensuring all targets and requirements are met on schedule and within budget.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience:

    8–10 years in construction with at least 5 years of management; knowledge of all telecommunications construction practices and material management.
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NESC, FCC, and industry standards; technical knowledge of CATV plant and fiber‑optic construction; advanced budgeting and financial management; familiarity with MDU/Apartment prewire and post‑wire construction specifications.
  • Abilities:
    Data analysis and presentation; database management; business planning and forecasting.
  • Skills:

    Proven leadership and mentoring; strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills; adept at building team and relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management experience.
