• Provides construction management services on multiple or complex projects at an international airport facility.
• Provides ongoing construction inspection, quality assurance and performs specialty inspections.
• Reviews contractor’s work, inspects delivered materials and verifies certifications.
• Ensures compliance with approved construction documents, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Records daily observations and reports non‑compliance.
• Coordinates and verifies field testing of materials.
• Reviews and approves pay applications.
• Reviews contractor quality control and safety manuals and procedures.
• Performs daily safety inspections.
• Reviews construction plans and specifications.
• Reviews contractor submittals for constructability and compliance.

This position requires heavy lifting, working outside in a variety of conditions on a regular basis, and ability to perform work independently.

Travel to construction sites is an essential function of this position; a valid driver’s license is required.

Extended hours and overnight stays may be required.

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of construction inspection experience.
• Associate degree (two‑year) or Technical Training degree (two years) in construction management, engineering, or related field, with 6 years’ experience in construction inspection.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, plus 4 years of relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience in construction inspection, construction materials testing, and/or observation in the transportation field.
• State certifications in Materials Testing preferred, along with safety certifications.
• Experience with airport construction projects.
