We are seeking a highly creative, resourceful, and mission-driven Director of Brand Experience & Communications to lead the storytelling, brand presence, and aesthetic expression of our skilled nursing facilities across multiple states. This individual will shape not just what people see online — but how they feel about our organization in every touchpoint from digital platforms to the interior design of new facilities.
This role encompasses social media strategies, brand communications, community engagement, and design consultation for new and remodeled campuses. The role involves collaborating with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure the brand is consistently represented across all touchpoints. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of creativity, leadership, marketing savvy, and operational flexibility.
A successful candidate for the Brand Experience & Communications Director role should have a strong understanding of consumer behavior, excellent communication skills, a creative mindset, and possess a results-driven mentality. The ideal candidate must also be open to assisting with special projects, public representation, and facility design decisions, all while staying grounded in the needs of each campus's residents, staff, community and culture.
Must respond to emails/calls in a timely manner.
Social Media & Digital Storytelling
- In collaboration with VP of Business Development develop and manage a vibrant social media strategy reflecting the organizations' vision, mission, and values, drives recruitment, supports census growth, and builds culture across the organization.
- Create and publish a minimum of two posts per week per facility, highlighting staff, residents, events, and milestones.
- Ensure weekly “Feel Good Friday” posts for each region, spotlighting uplifting and heartwarming stories.
- Maintain a consistent corporate social media presence (minimum one post per week).
- Produce engaging Reels and short-form videos.
- Compose thoughtful, on-brand captions.
- Use content to promote connection, morale, and community pride.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR to support recruitment and culture initiatives.
- Monitor platforms for reviews and feedback.
- Address negative reviews with leadership.
- Post professional, HIPAA-compliant, public responses.
- Maintain standards for visual content.
- Train staff to capture high-quality content.
- Review and edit submissions for brand integrity in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Design and distribute a monthly company-wide newsletter.
- Ensure representation across the organization footprint.
- Design branded flyers and materials.
- Oversee digital promotion of events.
- Participate in design and aesthetic planning for facilities.
- Contribute to paint, flooring, furniture, and layout decisions.
- Ensure design reflects community needs.
- Create a consistent brand aesthetic.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to anticipate and adapt to changes in the marketplace.
- Represent the organization at events.
- Travel occasionally for events and content capture.
- Take on executive-level projects as needed.
