Physician - Radiology; PRN

Job Summary

Experienced Radiologist required to provide diagnostic imaging services, participate in academic programs, and contribute to cost‑effective and high‑quality patient care at UAB St. Vincent’s in Trussville, Alabama.

• Evaluate and treat patients using CT, US, MRI, PET, and fluoroscopy, including biopsy and basic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Improve cost effectiveness and quality of care through participation in initiatives.
• Accept patient referrals, serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed, and manage inpatient and outpatient consultations.
• Maintain appropriate documentation that meets insurance requirements and appeals denials promptly.
• Participate in academic programs, research, and on‑call schedules.

• MD or DO credentialed by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners (prior to hire or transfer).
• Board Certified or Eligible in Radiology.
• Proficient in CT, US, MRI, PET, fluoroscopy, biopsy, and basic nuclear procedures.

• Mammography
• Basic interventional procedures
• Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

On‑site day shifts with tele‑hybrid coverage.

UAB St. Vincent’s, Trussville.
