Emergency Medicine Physician

Medical Director position available in a growing Emergency Department

• The medical facility is located approx. 30 minutes outside of Montgomery, AL
• 10k/annual visits approx. 30-40 patients per 24 hrs.
• Excellent nursing staff who are top notch! Depending upon the shift, provider will have 1-3 RN s and 1-2 techs.
• Shifts run 7-7 and are mostly 24 hr. shifts
• EMR: Established
• Hospital is licensed for 69 beds, but there are 35 operational beds with avg. census between 8-10
• Hospitalist team takes care of all inpatients
• There is no ICU and there is no OB. Cardiac, L&D, Trauma all transferred
• 24/7 CT, but not MRI or Ultrasound after 5pm

Urgent Care Physician opportunity available immediately Urgent Need!

This urgent care is located in central, AL. and can be found between Birmingham and Montgomery.

• It is part of the Birmingham-Hoover-Cullman combined statistical area
• The physician must be willing to collaborate with mid-levels. Must have a current & non-restrictive DEA & AL License, Clean Databank and No significant malpractice history
• Hours: M-F; 8AM-6PM and Sat; 8AM-4PM
• Physician is assisted by an experienced N.P. and several M.A. s
• Census: 50-60 patients/pd typically during the fall and is staffed with two physicians
• 30-40 patients/pd typically during the summer
• EMR: Established
• Facility has X-ray & Lab on site and is fully staffed
• Physician can join as an independent contractor or as an employed position
