Role: Neurohospitalist providing consultative services in a hospital setting, with responsibilities including managing patient consultations and follow-ups.
Key Duties- Conduct daily patient consults, averaging 4 to 8 new cases per day.
- Follow patients throughout their hospital stay, focusing on consultative care.
- Utilize Cerner One Chart EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in night coverage via Nocturnist, with night phone call responsibilities during the week.
- Admit patients to hospitalist service, with no responsibility for admissions.
- APBN certification in Neurology required.
- Experience in neurology or hospitalist settings preferred.
- Strong communication and consultative skills.
